Warcraft Lore 9: Arthas BecomesThe Lich King

October 30th, 2009 | by admin |

After sucessfully escaping The Scourge in the Plaguelands, two foiled assasination attempts, and defeating Illidan and his Naga, King Arthas finally reaches the Frozen Throne in Northrend. I spite of all the voices in head, he obeys the Lich King’s voice and fulfills his mission by freeing the spirit and armor from its icy prison; only to be posessed by it and thus becoming the new Lich King incarnate until this very day. Arthas, once a noble paladin of Light, plunges further into darkness……

go to dragonblight in WotLK, do the flashback quests of arthas and muradin landing and retriving frostmourne, go to icecrown and do the Arthas to the lich king chain (where u fight illidan, my favorite), go to CoS and watch arthas fire Uther. its a load of fun, plus go to howling fjord and do the quest to get high off this incense (lol) go up to the lich king if u can find him and he says he was once a shaman, thats Ner’Zhul talking……whew what a mouthful. xD

Um I dont want to give spoilers but read the book Arthas Rise of the lich king and at the end it explains a bit about Arthas and Ner’zhul Now we are one I dont want to give any more information then that. But lets say this statement is not entirely true.

Ner’zhul isin’t destroyed, you heard him “Now…..we are one!”. he ment it, when arthas put the helmet of it fused their spirits together, so it’s the body of Arthas with the spirits of Arthas and Ner’zhul. They are not seperate, they are not two, now, there is only one Lich King
