World of Warcraft won’t start?

i open world of warcraft and there i click start game and an error occures and it says this: This appliaction has failed to start because DINPUT8.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. so i re installed it and the same this keeps showing up. what do i do???

    and if thats the problem then it will surely start

    The DLL is not part of world of warcraft, it was part of your system32 folder (assuming you have windows xp) you need to download the dll and put it in your system 32 folder, and if there is already one in there back it up and replace. Hopefully that will fix it. The dll link is below.

    Put the dll in:

    X:\WINDOWS\system32

    X meaning the drive where your windows folder is

    This is a DirectX driver; it sounds like you do not have DirectX installed or at least not installed properly. While you can just download this DLL, there may be other errors or instability if your DirectX package is not working right. Download install the 9.0c runtime at and install it and the problem should be fixed.
