How to sell a World of Warcraft account?
May 16th, 2009 | by admin |All the sites I’ve come across that aid in selling WoW accounts seem to be sketchy at best. I’m not looking for answers preaching that selling wow accounts is immoral or against their terms of service. Money from a game I’m going to quit anyway? I’m not turning that down. Any guidance on how to sell my world of warcraft account without getting ripped off would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I would guess at eBay – one account that was put up there a year or two ago sold for £2000, if I remember rightly.
Short of that, I guess finding a friend or someone else you know IRL who wants to start playing might be interested.

An easy way to sell locally is use
craigslist.com
You choose your city and state and you can post ads for free. In the ad you can give your phone number or even just your e-mail. Be prepared to answer in detail about your WoW account.

The most trusted site for account trading wow-wise right now is realpoor.com
They have a strict policy regarding interaction and how you contact people to ensure that if someone tries to do something underhanded, that they can fully prosecute them and get your money/account back.
I know a couple of players that have traded on this account, and it is first rate.
