Serenity Now bombs a World of Warcraft funeral

A girl who played World of Warcraft died in real life and the friends she had met in the game planned an in-game funeral for her. They posted about the event on the message boards and urged people not to bust it up. I don’t think I need to explain what happened; the video speaks for itself. I didn’t make the video. I just uploaded it.

the vieo was funny but for any one who was a real friend to his person well u fuched up big time in my book. you shold not fuck with the dead and the deads friends u well get urs eather after ur life or befor it im on a PVP server have bouth aliance and hor but i wold not do that if i knew it was a fucking funeral dude. as an ass hole wich i am im gana pay too it was funny i willpay for that too if that be a real funaral but to the decested rest in pice

1. It’s a funeral, even if digital; have some feelings.
2. It’s a MMORPG, there is no definitive “win.”
3. Fun PvP is having a fair fight against an equal and triumphing, not slaughtering a bunch of people who are unarmed. I wouldn’t have attacked them in this, and I would have left them alone if they had been doing anything else. I have the feeling, though, that Serenity Now would attack random unarmed people for the fun of it; something like that is not at all right.

Hey how about when our friends die we all get out a monopoly gameboard and mourn them around it for a good 10 minutes or something and invite all our friends over.
Sounds silly right? Yeah same thing to do it on another kind of game too.
The guys who came in to pvp were just winning the game, thats all. They could have cared less about other people’s “Feelings” or “Lives”, they were there to have fun and play a game, is this wrong? No. I lol’d

Not all alliance are that big of assholes. There’s worthless people everywhere online. Personally, if I had an ally main on that server, I’d have attended the funeral to pay respects to the death of a fellow human, and walked away in shame when that guild came through.

It’s true, nobody can actually die in a video game. But there are moral, humane standards that should be expected of decent people. Imagine, instead of a real-life killing, a more accurate comparison in that a close friend of yours dies, and, at the funeral, a bunch of assholes show up and trash the place. No one is harmed physically, of course, but you can bet your life all the mourners would be fucking PISSED. Is there hope for humanity if something like this happens, even virtually?

I really dont understand how people can say she was fat and that she deserved to die just because she played a video game. Apparently like I stated earlier. Most of you folks must’ve have some shitty parents to not teach you proper morales to have in life. Hopefully when your best friend or parent dies. You’ll finally know how it feels to lose a loved one….. Id be damn proud to have a WoW funeral in my honor. But NOONE deserves to die in this world. Selfish assholes….

for those of you saying that SN are shit because they had to go in and gank lowbies in a funeral to get PvP points learn to read, or play, whichever one.
Watch as the kills fly up. They’re killing first sergeants, honor guards, etc. Which means they are killing extremely skilled players.
