world of warcraft installation?

i downloaded the client from the website for the original World of Warcraft, but when i was done with that, i used the actual disk for the Burning Crusade, it wouldnt let me install it with the disk though whats the problem?

    But you must know that after you download the client from wow, you have to install. Downloading the client takes anywhere from 2-50 minutes, installing it usually takes 2+ hours.

    Theres a good chance that downloading the client will be the quickest way, since it has the patches already in it, where with the disks after you install them you have to go througha multiple of patches.
