where do i find an anvil in world of warcraft?

i have looked all over ironforge,and stormwind city.i have tried talking to people that carry engineering supplies and blacksmithing supplies but cant find an anvil to save my life(literally)

    Here is what you do.
    In Stormwind go to a gaurd and ask for the Blacksmithing Trainer.
    They will lead you to the Black Smithing trainer. But next to him is a smelting forge and a Anvil for all your metal smithing needs.
    Have fun.

    It is in Dwarven district.

    Anvils and Forges are not items you can put in your inventory, rather, they’re on the ground, and you have to stand near them for blacksmithing and engineering. Just about every city has anvils in very obvious locations. In Ironforge, there’s a huge anvil right in the middle of the city. In stormwind, it’s in the dwarven district under a tent. Darnassas doesn’t have an anvil, but there’s one nearby in darkshore.

    go to if and stand by the flight path. see that big glowing thing in the middle of ironforge, called The Great Forge? yeah, biggest anvil in the game.

    plus there is usually one right next to anyone who can repair your armor. so find someone who can repair your armor and look next to them. there should be an anvil

    Generally speaking, wherever you fins someone selling blacksmith supplies you will also find an anvil. Anvils are not inventory items. They are large, immobile, pieces of scenery that enable blacksmith actions.

    In Ironforge, the main ones are located in the center of town, where the lava-falls are. Odds are you will see several people standing around them. In Stormwind they are located near the blacksmith supply shop in the Dwarven part of town.

    You will know when you are close enough to the anvil to use it when the items in your craft menu that need it are enabled.
